Sahara launches 'Sahara City Homes' to South India
Prime City Limited, the real estate company of Sahara India Pariwar launched its flagship brand of township - �Sahara City Homes� in Coimbatore. Spread over 113.33 acres, Sahara City Homes, Coimbatore is the second project of Sahara group launched in south India, after the launch of Sahara Grace - brand of residential complex at Kochi, in April 2008. The Coimbatore township project is a part of Sahara City Homes, a chain of townships proposed to be developed in 217 cities across the country. Shapoorji Pallon ji & Co. Ltd., a company developing infrastructure in India and abroad has been selected for constructing four types of towers, ranging from 9 to 24 floors (along with central water body and club) and development work on the land area of 14.72 acres. The project comprises of a mix of two to four Bedroom Apartments and three to four Bedroom Duplex Apartments and Penthouses.
The company has been selected by Sahara Prime City Limited on their past records and quality of work. This has reference to your application No. nil dated 18.09.2007 and subsequent letter dated 17.12.2007 seeking prior Environmental Clearance for the above project under the EIA Notification, 1994. The proposal has been appraised as per prescribed procedure in the lights of provisions under the EIA Notification, 2006 on the basis of the mandatory documents enclosed with the application viz., the Questionnaire, EIA, EMP and the additional clarifications furnished in response to the observations of the Expert Appraisal Committee constituted by the competent authority in its meetings held on 19th ? 22nd November 2007 and 28th ? 30th January, 2008 and awarded ?Silver? grading to the project.
